Culture Plans serve as a roadmap for a community’s arts and culture initiatives, guiding investments, partnerships, and programming. They also create a vision that captures the aspirations of local artists, organizations, and residents.

About the plan
Louisville Metro Government's Office of Arts + Creative Industries is partnering with Designing Local, Artful Places, and Jon Stover & Associates on a cultural planning process for Louisville.
This process will build on existing plans like Imagine Greater Louisville, Plan 2040, and Growing Louisville Together. Louisville Metro aims to set concrete goals for growing the creative industries and their economic impact.
Key components of the Cultural Planning Process include:
Updating the Public Art Master Plan
Conducting an economic audit of the arts sector
Developing recommendations to support Louisville's creative economy
